Postscript (edited) last ex nihilo

To speak of any other “god” besides He who created all things and in whom we also live is to speak of a demon. {Gal 4:8}

Postscript:

To speak of any other “god” besides He who created all things and in whom we all live and move and have our being is to speak of a demon. {Gal 4:8}

As with one’s children, one’s dogs, one’s Marines, and oneself: far better is it to have to rein in zeal toward the prosecution of a goal than to be forced to kick any of these in the ass to get them to do it.

To grow in one’s faith is not to grow in complexity of thought or, worse, diversity of widespread, gregarious and agreeable opinion concerning the gospel but to “regress” into childlike simplicity which, in fact, is the most masculine and manly of all virtues that a man could aspire; masculinity which is summed up in the words of Christ Himself when He said: “Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ Anything more comes from the evil one.” {Matt 5:37}

I feel strongly the need to repent and thus do “I now repent, Lord, of my former, flippant, nonchalant, noncommital, and altogether damnable attitude and opinion toward the murder of the innocents in the womb, be those innocents genetically deformed, a danger to the life of the mother, the result of incest, rape, abuse, or – worst and unfortunately most common of all – simply ‘unwanted’ by the mother.”

I also need to state that Judaism, Islam, as well as the vast bulk of Christianity are false religions insofar as the first two are works-and-thus-boasting-based beliefs systems that endeavor to establish one’s own righteousness {Rom 10:3}, while the false religiosities of Christianity (of which most so-called professors of Christ nevertheless adhere) which denigrate the sovereignty of God by attributing a higher value to man’s will than to God’s; such attribution which inevitably results in the same kind of “works-based” salvation professed in the Islam and Judaism. Most Christian religiosity rubbishes God’s grace as cheap and expendable and leads such ones to enjoy a certain license to indulge in the most heinous sins, which even the lost do not condone, the likes of which such false believers in His grace erroneously assume He will cover over for them (What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? {James 2:14}). The freely indulged offenses of this type cause the weak brothers in the faith to stumble while shaming the body of Christ to outsiders and in so doing damns many a soul to hell by convincing such “unsaved” men through the continual indulgence of the said license of the false professors that the Holy One of Israel cares little about sin and desires not genuine repentance and the renovation of one’s mind and life to conform such things to the image of the Son, of whom “He who did not spare… but gave Him up for us all,” {Rom 8:32}.

In John 14:6: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” I am thoroughly ashamed that I wrote two and a half books about “truth” and neglected this passage. Lord, forgive my ignorance.

Indeed, Christ, as ultimate reality, is, by inference and by the written Word of His gospel, Truth itself — to include all its entails and nothing besides.

Such is obvious to the one who has been gifted with Christ, but it is only “obvious” because it was gifted, without condition or reservation, from God the Father, and, as divinely given, is thus impossible to enduringly reject. Just as it was written about Peter when he received a similar revelation from God: “Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'”Jesus, knowing the source of his proclamation, replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven.” {Matt 16:16-17}
