Sept 8 – Style (re-edited)

I.

As has been stated from the beginning of my body of work, “style,” which is to say, ‘the evocative means of communicating aesthetic sentiments’ – as it pertains (or should) to the authentication of the elucidation of “truth” – is and has always been more fundamental than the content, substance, and the products of style; method and means, when paired in a way that evokes the most nuanced, subtle, and sophisticated of all possible emotions, which not only transfigures the stylist into an Artist, but transfixes as well the potential beneficiary of said style into Style’s most necessary Receptacle so that through the ontological dependency established by their new-found relationship, theirs might be the vehicle by which “Truth” is implicitly communicated to the world of objects and things.

II.

Authority – which shall be herein equated with authenticity – is most powerfully and primordially expressed by the enduring demonstration of sacrifice, whether of one’s time, “gifts,” most prized possessions, or one’s literal life, time, and vitality; the greater, more beautiful, and potentially “timeless” (or “endurable”) that life appears as compared to others as that which dictates the “price” of that sacrifice which ultimately therein dictates the worth, significance, and “importance” of the products that such a one produced from and stands upon said authority.

Such is why the Suffering Servant, who is the lamb slain “before the foundation of the world”, holds ultimate authority on earth and in heaven, inasmuch as that Servant is also God in the flesh of man.
